During a negotiation speech at the National Assembly for the regular session today (September 8), People Power Party floor leader Jung Jeom-sik stated, "There is no constitutional reform in this administration," and asserted, "We will never discuss constitutional reform with forces that explicitly commit unconstitutional acts and seek private interests through constitutional reform."

Floor leader Jung stated, "The President even mentioned a constitutional amendment for consecutive terms. However, he never says 'I will not seek consecutive terms' or 'I will stand trial.' Is the intention perhaps to extend the term through constitutional reform and thereby delay the trial?"
