At around 11:12 AM on the 7th, a report was received that a man in his 60s, identified as A, was crushed by a stone while performing stonework at a cemetery in Bongsu-myeon, Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Fire authorities, responding to a report from a nearby resident, transported A to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest, but he ultimately passed away.

It was found that A was working alone at his relative's grave, using an excavator and a truck to build a stone retaining wall to prevent the gravesite from collapsing.

Police believe the accident occurred when a stone weighing approximately 100 kg, which was placed at an angle on the truck, fell while A was working underneath the vehicle, and authorities are currently investigating the exact details of the incident.
