Kang Soo-hyun, who appeared as Jung-sook of season 15 on SBS Plus and ENA's "I Am Solo", has addressed the suspicions of manipulation that arose after she appeared on a married life solution variety program just three months into her marriage.
On the 7th, Jung-sook stated on her YouTube channel, "A lot of people asked why newlyweds went on the show, but we did fight a lot. There were truly many arguments in the process of living together and trying to adjust to each other, and I thought I wanted to get a solution from someone else." She admitted, "I had a bit of a problem with drinking a lot, and that was also why we argued frequently."

On KBS Joy's "Good and Bad Relationships" (literal translation), which aired on the 2nd, Kang Soo-hyun revealed how she faced a crisis in her marital relationship because she drank excessively despite being a newlywed or met male friends late into the night, causing worry for her spouse. However, successive criticisms pointed out that her actions of holding a bottle of liquor and dancing in front of her husband or engaging in a war of words with him looked contrived.
In response, Jung-sook emphasized, "Unlike 'I Am Solo', which is a 100% observational broadcast, there is a bit of reenactment. However, it is based on a true story, and it is not fabricated. Especially, the part where a shaman appeared was real. I found it so fascinating, too. Actually, I had a phone fortune-telling session with that person five years ago, and they gave me harsh advice back then as well. Meeting them again like this and hearing similar advice made me think it was fate."
Previously, even after going through controversies over "switching from one relationship to another" with her then-fiancé (Park Sang-joon) early last year, Jung-sook pushed ahead with her wedding as scheduled and stated her position that she would face the controversy head-on by revealing her husband's face.
In addition, addressing criticisms about a Catholic believer appearing on a shamanistic solution couple variety show, Jung-sook shared her changed attitude, saying, "I think shamanism is also a form of culture. I offered a prayer of apology to God through prayer." She added, "After the broadcast, I also apologized to my husband and reduced my drinking problem a lot. Since then, there has never been a single problem caused by alcohol."
