September is Reading Month.

With as many as 10,000 reading events taking place across the country, we have put them together for you.

Let's take a look.

First, we will share this year's Reading Month slogan.

It is "Simply Because We Love Books" (a Korean wordplay on "book" and "like").

From meetings with authors to outdoor reading, performances, picture book exhibitions, and hands-on experiences, there are so many ways to enjoy books.

First, let's look at events in the Seoul area.

Outdoor libraries will operate at Seoul Plaza, Gwanghwamun Square, and Cheonggyecheon Stream until November 1.

In Dongdaemun-gu, a book festival combining books and physical activities will be held on the 12th.

Also, in Daehangno, a Literature Week featuring book talks and meetings with authors will run from the 16th to the 20th.

Elsewhere, the Jeonju Book Festival will be held in Jeonju for three days starting from the 11th.

Chuncheon is also wonderful in the autumn.

The Korea National Reading Festival will also be held in Chuncheon for three days starting from the 18th.
