This is the story of Tving, which suffered a personal information leak.

Starting yesterday, the platform began accepting compensation applications from users affected by the leak.

Reports show that users are complaining about cumbersome procedures, such as having to rejoin the service.

Victims of the leak can access the Tving website or app and click on a dedicated banner to be directed to a separate page.

The application is then completed by going through identity verification and selecting a compensation item.

Members who have already withdrawn are also eligible for compensation.

However, to access the compensation application page and proceed with identity verification, users must sign up for Tving again.

Tving explained that re-registering is unavoidable to verify identities and match information values.

One withdrawn member complained, "It feels burdensome to provide my personal information once again to a platform that managed it poorly," adding, "It is contradictory to tell us to rejoin when the somewhat useful benefits cannot even be utilized by non-subscribers of the pass."

In response, voices demanding cash compensation are also emerging online.
