Weather: Daytime Highs Around 30°C with Large Temperature Swings

The sun is hot during the day, but once the sun sets, you can feel the brisk autumn air.

This week is expected to remain mostly clear with wide daily temperature ranges.

Morning temperatures today (the 8th) are forecast at 18°C (64°F) in Seoul and 16°C (61°F) in Daegu. During the day, strong sunlight will push temperatures up to around 30°C (86°F).

You need to take good care of your health amid the large seasonal temperature swings.

Rain is expected to start again in the eastern coastal areas from late this afternoon and continue through tomorrow.

Precipitation amounts are expected to range from 5 to as much as 40mm in the mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, falling intermittently.

Looking closely at today's morning temperatures, Seoul starts at 18°C (64°F) and Daegu at 16°C (61°F), similar to or slightly lower than yesterday.

Daytime highs will reach around 30°C (86°F) nationwide, including 30°C (86°F) in Seoul, making it as hot as yesterday.

Later in the week, morning temperatures in Seoul are expected to drop to 16°C (61°F), making the morning air even cooler.
