The special counsel team investigating the National Election Commission over the ballot paper shortage incident during the June 3 local elections held a hanging-out ceremony today (the 7th) and officially launched its operations.

Special Counsel Lee Tae-han stated, "We will not be shaken by unverified suspicions or political controversies."

The special counsel team plans to investigate 12 suspicions, including the ballot paper shortage incident, voter turnout manipulation, and lavish overseas business trips, for a maximum period of 150 days.
