At an elementary school in China that started its new semester on the 3rd, a student suddenly began having a nosebleed. However, this student was not the only one reporting abnormal symptoms. Parents' group chat rooms were flooded with successive messages reporting dizziness, allergic reactions, and nosebleeds.

The diagnosis for the students who visited the hospital was "irritant gas poisoning." Parents raised suspicions that the children may have been exposed to hazardous substances like formaldehyde in their new classrooms.

The classrooms in question had recently finished remodeling work, and the smell of paint was reportedly very strong. A joint investigation team is set to be formed to determine the exact cause, but the anxiety among parents shows little sign of subsiding.
