Lawmaker Han hit back at the Democratic Party's claim that he obtained and released the recording illegally, telling them to "dream on." He added, "I will play my role in determining whether to stop or allow the creation of South Korea's first former-convict Justice Minister," and called on National Assembly Speaker Cho Jung-sik and others to approve him as a hearing committee member.
