This is the Wall Street week ahead.

While the market will be closed on the 7th for Labor Day, the August Producer Price Index is scheduled for release on the 10th, followed by the August Consumer Price Index on the 11th.

Last weekend, the three major U.S. stock indexes turned downward after three sessions of gains.

The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 both finished slightly lower.

Treasury yields temporarily spiked and concerns over additional tightening grew after U.S. nonfarm payrolls for August surged to triple market expectations.

However, the market analyzes that it is difficult to conclude that the Federal Reserve will immediately embark on a rate hike based solely on solid employment figures.

This is largely because the numbers reflect a correction of temporary sluggishness from July caused by summer vacations and seasonal factors, and while jobs increased, wage growth actually slowed down.

Meanwhile, Oracle, which has executed massive borrowings to expand its AI data center infrastructure, will have the effectiveness of its investments and financial soundness tested through its upcoming earnings report.

Looking at the closing status by stock, Micron drew attention by surging 6%.

As OpenAI's new AI model Astra proved its outstanding performance, buying pressure flocked amid expectations that future AI infrastructure investment efficiency would increase and memory semiconductor demand would explode even further.

This week is expected to be a crucial turning point that will determine the direction of monetary policy for the second half of the year, as August inflation data and major corporate earnings releases coincide.
