The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on the 6th (local time) that it is continuing its maritime blockade operations targeting Iran by deploying assets such as F-35A stealth fighters.
CENTCOM stated on social media X, "Units assigned to U.S. Central Command continue to enforce maritime blockade measures against Iran. U.S. Air Force F-35A stealth fighters are patrolling the skies above the area."
To strictly implement the maritime blockade measures, the U.S. military has rerouted a total of 92 commercial vessels as of today.
The command added that three vessels were neutralized (stopped from operating) in the process, and U.S. forces directly boarded and searched two other vessels.
