

A fire broke out at a hospital in Gwangju, prompting an emergency evacuation of around 50 people.
The fire occurred at an Oriental medicine hospital located in Yongdu-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, at around 3:00 PM today (September 6).
According to reports, a patient's guardian used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames within about 10 minutes of the outbreak. While no injuries were reported, around 50 people, including patients, evacuated in a hurry.
Fire authorities believe the fire started from an air conditioner and are currently investigating the exact cause and circumstances.
