The film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (hereafter "Spider-Man 4") has achieved 900 million dollars (approx. 1.2146 trillion won) in box office revenue at the fastest pace in North American box office history.

According to box office tracking site Box Office Mojo on the 5th (local time), the cumulative North American box office revenue for "Spider-Man 4" reached 903.63 million dollars as of the previous day.

This milestone was achieved in 36 days after its release, comfortably surpassing the previous record set by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in 2015, which reached 900 million dollars in 50 days.

With the start of the U.S. Labor Day weekend, box office revenue for "Spider-Man 4" is expected to increase further.

According to entertainment outlet Variety, an additional 22 million dollars in revenue is projected over the four-day holiday weekend.

Variety explained that if this trend continues, surpassing the all-time North American box office record of 936 million dollars held by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is only a matter of time.

Looking at worldwide box office earnings, "Spider-Man 4" has grossed 2.34513 billion dollars so far.

This ranks as the third-highest of all time, following "Avatar" (2009) at 2.92371 billion dollars and "Avengers: Endgame" (2019) at 2.79944 billion dollars.

Starring Tom Holland, "Spider-Man 4" depicts the story of the hero Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), who is isolated in a world where even his close friends and lover have forgotten his existence, as he faces a new villain entirely on his own.

According to the U.S. film and series review site Rotten Tomatoes, the film is receiving favorable reviews with an audience score (Popcornmeter) of 97% (out of 100%) and a critic score (Tomatometer) of 89%.
