President Lee Jae-myung, accompanied by First Lady Kim Hye-kyung, departed for France this morning (the 6th) from Seoul Air Base for a state visit at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

On the first day, President Lee will attend the Lumiere Summit, an international film and visual content summit held in Saint-Paul-de-Vence in southern France, in the capacity of co-chair.

He will then travel to Paris to hold a private luncheon and a summit meeting with President Macron, during which they plan to discuss ways to expand cooperation in advanced technology fields such as artificial intelligence and nuclear energy.
