Kim Ha-seong (30) of the Atlanta Braves in Major League Baseball (MLB) failed to record a hit for the second consecutive game.

Starting as the ninth-batter and shortstop in an away game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the 6th (KST), Kim went hitless in three at-bats.

His season batting average dipped to 0.113 (11 hits in 97 at-bats).

Kim grounded out to the infield in the second inning and struck out in the fifth and seventh innings.

On defense, with two outs and runners on first and third in the bottom of the fourth inning, he made a diving catch on Alec Bohm's hard-hit ball and threw to second base to end the inning, preventing a run.

Atlanta lost to Philadelphia 4-2.

Meanwhile, San Francisco Giants outfielder Lee Jung-hoo (28), who has recently fallen into a batting slump, sat out an away game against the New York Mets.

Lee has scuffled over his last five games with a batting average of 0.063 (1 hit in 21 at-bats), lowering his season batting average to 0.280 (138 hits in 492 at-bats).

Powered by an offense that slugged six home runs, San Francisco defeated the Mets 9-5.
