Lee Jung-hyun, who was limited to just 9 points four days prior in the World Cup qualifiers against Saudi Arabia due to lingering effects from an injury, made a complete comeback.
He rained down 7 out of 11 three-point attempts, racking up 27 points while also adding 5 assists.
Cheers from the fans reached a crescendo during the play where he set up Yeo Jun-seok for an alley-oop dunk.
Although ace Lee Hyun-jung was held to 6 points, he injected energy into both offense and defense by grabbing 15 rebounds.
Following two recent consecutive losses in friendly matches against Japan and struggling to find teamwork, the national team relied on fast-paced fast breaks and crisp passing to claim a 26-point blowout victory.
Securing consecutive wins for the first time since head coach Mazurs took charge, the team successfully managed to turn the mood around ahead of the Asian Games.
Lee Hyun-jung even showered Lee Jung-hyun with water to celebrate the victory.
[Lee Jung-hyun / National Basketball Team Guard: I feel really good because we secured a win with a refreshing performance after a long time. I want to build on this and achieve great results at the Asian Games.]
The national team will play its final friendly match ahead of the Asian Games against the Philippines tomorrow (September 6).
