The Seoul International Fireworks Festival, co-hosted by Hanwha and SBS, is currently underway at Hangang Park in Yeouido, Seoul. Let's go live to the scene right away.
Reporter Jeon Yeonnam, colorful fireworks are visible behind you.

Yes, just a moment ago at 8:00 PM sharp, the Seoul International Fireworks Festival kicked off right here at Hangang Park in Yeouido.
Brilliant fireworks are painting the autumn night sky in various colors, accompanied by exciting music such as Soda Pop by K-Pop Demon Hunters.
Following the fireworks show by the UK team currently visible behind me, the US team's show will follow shortly, and then the Korean team's show is scheduled to take place sequentially starting at 8:40 PM.
This year, fireworks are set to unfold symmetrically on both sides of the Han River centered around Wonhyo Bridge, allowing people to enjoy the beautiful fireworks from a much wider area.
Since this afternoon (the 5th), a truly large number of citizens have visited Hangang Park here to enjoy pre-events and wait for the fireworks festival.
With such massive crowds gathering, it was reminiscent of a tent village.

It seems like a huge number of citizens came out because the weather is good, but how is safety management being handled at the scene?
[Reporter]
Yes, the organizers and relevant authorities announced that they have deployed 5,000 order-maintenance personnel, the largest scale ever, in preparation for the crowd of over 1 million people expected today.
The police also focused on safety management by intensively deploying police officers to major access roads and subway stations around Yeouido.
In addition, 12 detective teams and criminal mobile unit vehicles were deployed to crowded areas of the event venue to prepare for motiveless crimes such as those involving weapons.
Traffic and subway operations are also being controlled.
Vehicle traffic on Yeouidong-ro is fully controlled until midnight today, and Wonhyo Bridge will be completely blocked until 3:00 AM tomorrow.
Trains will pass through Yeouinaru Station without stopping until 10:00 PM.
