Subway trains on Line 5 are currently bypassing Yeouinaru Station without stopping as massive crowds flock to the Seoul World Fireworks Festival venue around Hangang Park in Yeouido this evening.

Seoul Metro announced that due to heavy congestion, inbound and outbound trains passing through Yeouinaru Station have been bypassing the station since around 6:11 p.m. today.

The corporation plans to maintain the train bypasses at Yeouinaru Station until 10 p.m.

Police have intensively deployed personnel around the Yeouinaru Station area to manage the crowds.
