Actor Han So-hee shared that she was reminded of her own past while playing a rookie CEO in the film "The Intern".

Attending the press and distribution preview for the movie "The Intern" held at Yongsan CGV on the afternoon of the 4th, Han So-hee started by saying, "Since the original work is such a massive success, I started with a heavy sense of burden from the beginning." She added, "However, those worries all disappeared while filming. Although it is a remake, I believed there were distinct points that we could interpret through our own sensibility. I paid more attention to the combination and harmony between the young CEO running a company and the senior intern. I didn't approach the filming by comparing it to the original."

In this project, Han So-hee plays Seon-woo, a candid and passionate workaholic CEO. She adapted the character Jules, played by Anne Hathaway in the original, to fit the Korean sentiment, and infused her own unique color into the role.

Regarding the character, who is a young talent in the industry but reveals vulnerabilities in leadership and relationships, Han So-hee said, "Even though she is in the representative seat, I tried to understand the feelings of a young and clumsy woman carrying heavy burdens." She added, "I thought a lot about myself in the past, running passionately toward my dreams."

She also expressed her deep respect for veteran actor Choi Minsik, with whom she worked for the first time in this project. Han So-hee expressed confidence, saying, "Because Choi Minsik sunbaenim has his own philosophy and style, I don't think it's right to compare the original actor and him. If I may boldly say so, the scene in the latter half of the movie where Ki-ho looks down at the company will deliver a profound resonance that cannot be found in the original."

"The Intern" depicts an office life that transcends generations and ranks, beginning when a 37-year-old veteran senior intern named Ki-ho joins the company of Seon-woo, who rapidly emerged as a dark horse in the fashion industry three years after its launch. It is a remake of the 2015 global hit Hollywood film of the same name, "The Intern".

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on September 16.
