Gangnam Police Station arrested a teenage female, Miss A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act around 5:30 a.m. on August 28.

Individuals who are not authorized handlers of narcotics, such as medical professionals, are subject to punishment simply for possessing narcotics.

Police reportedly were dispatched after receiving a report near the station at the time and confirmed Philopon among Miss A's belongings.

A police official stated, "Miss A was not under the influence of drugs at the time of her arrest."

It was learned that Miss A tested negative in a preliminary drug screening.

Police are investigating whether she actually ingested the drugs and the circumstances surrounding her possession of them, including requesting a detailed analysis from the National Forensic Service.
