Heungkuk Life Insurance, serving as the chairperson company, is participating as the title sponsor for professional volleyball.

The Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) signed a title sponsor agreement with Heungkuk Life Insurance today (the 4th) at the KOVO conference room in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

The contract runs for three years, spanning from the 2026-2027 season through the 2028-2029 season.

The sponsorship amount was not disclosed.

Following the agreement, the official name of the V-League for the 2026-2027 season has been finalized as the "HK Heungkuk Financial 2026-2027 V-League."

Heungkuk Life Insurance has secured rights including the use of the V-League competition title, emblem usage rights, and advertising rights within arenas located in professional volleyball home cities.

Officials including KOVO Secretary General Um Jae-yong and Heungkuk Life Insurance CEO Kim Hyung-pyo attended the signing ceremony.

CEO Kim Hyung-pyo stated, "Having been together with Korean volleyball for a long time through operating a volleyball team, it is meaningful to begin a new journey as the V-League title sponsor," adding, "We will create various opportunities for fans to enjoy volleyball up close."

Heungkuk Life Insurance, which operates a women's volleyball team, signed a business agreement for the title sponsorship last April, and subsequently became the new chairperson company as Lee Ho-jin, chairman of Taekwang Group, was appointed as the 9th president of KOVO.
