Danielle, formerly of the group NewJeans, released the first video on her personal YouTube channel, sharing an update on her time in Australia.

On the 3rd, Danielle uploaded a video titled "Detour" to her YouTube channel. Standing in front of the camera with a makeup-free face by a lake in Australia, Danielle checked her equipment, saying, "Testing, one, two, three," and continued, "As you can see, I am currently out by a lake in Australia. It feels a bit awkward being by myself, but I'll just go with it."

Danielle explained that her trip to Australia was motivated by a longing for nature and her family. She shared, "I really missed the nature, the ocean, and my family in the place where I was born and raised. So, I decided to spend some time here," while also sharing her daily life in her hometown of Newcastle. Danielle revealed, "I've already toured around downtown Newcastle, visited Caves Beach, and went for a swim. I also shared several delicious and warm meals with my family."

Toward the end of the video, she expressed anticipation for a new journey. Danielle stated, "I don't know what will unfold ahead or where I will go. One thing is certain: I am setting off on the very first solo trip of my life."

The 1-minute and 40-second video surpassed 1.8 million views within a day of its release.

Meanwhile, Danielle is engaged in a legal dispute with her agency, ADOR, regarding her exclusive contract. ADOR won the first trial in the lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, after which Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni returned to ADOR. Danielle has been notified of the termination of her exclusive contract by ADOR, and a damage suit is currently underway.
