DANIELLE, formerly of the group NewJeans, released the first video on her personal YouTube channel and shared updates from Australia.

On the 3rd, DANIELLE posted a video titled "Detour" on her YouTube channel. Standing in front of the camera without makeup by a lake in Australia, she checked her equipment, saying, "Testing, one, two, three," and continued, "As you can see, I am currently out by a lake in Australia. Since I am alone, it feels a bit awkward, but I will just go with it as it is."

DANIELLE explained the reason for her trip to Australia as her longing for nature and family. She shared everyday moments spent in her hometown of Newcastle, saying, "I really missed the nature, the sea, and my family where I was born and raised. So I decided to spend some time here." DANIELLE stated, "I have already toured around downtown Newcastle, visited Caves Beach, and went swimming. I also shared several warm, delicious meals with my family."

In the latter part of the video, she also expressed anticipation for her new journey. DANIELLE said, "I do not know what kind of things will unfold or where I will end up going. One thing is for certain: I am setting off on my very first solo trip in life."

The 1-minute and 40-second video surpassed 1.8 million views in just one day after being posted.

Meanwhile, DANIELLE is continuing legal disputes regarding her exclusive contract with her agency, ADOR. ADOR won the first trial in the lawsuit to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, and afterwards HYEIN, HAERIN, and HANNI returned to ADOR. DANIELLE has been notified of the termination of her exclusive contract by ADOR, and a damages lawsuit is currently underway.
