President Lee Jae-myung will pay a state visit to France from September 6 to 9 at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

The visit follows President Macron's invitation during his trip to Seoul last April, where he asked President Lee to serve as co-chair of the Lumière Summit, an international film summit to be held in France.

President Lee is scheduled to attend the Lumière Summit as co-chair with President Macron in Saint-Paul-de-Vence in southern France on the 7th, followed by state visit activities in Paris the next day, including a South Korea-France summit.
