According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), the number of suspected influenza patients has been on the rise for 11 consecutive weeks.

Since the middle of last month, the number of suspected flu patients has surpassed the epidemic threshold of the previous season.

Please note that the national vaccination program will proceed sequentially by target group, starting with children and pregnant women on the 21st, followed by the elderly.

As flu patients continue to increase like this, it would be a good idea to wash your hands thoroughly, visit a hospital if you feel unwell, and get plenty of rest this weekend.
