This incident took place at a popular convenience store in the Philippines.

As the video spread, fierce criticism poured in against the woman.

Concerns were also raised over hygiene management at self-service display stands where customers can directly take out food.

It has not been confirmed when the video was filmed.

As the controversy continued, the convenience store officially stated that any improperly handled food would be immediately discarded.
