As cooler and drier air flows in earnest, the season is gradually shifting into autumn.

Mornings now start off pleasantly cool at around 20°C.

Daytime temperatures are also gradually dropping to stay below 30°C.

Along with temperatures, humidity is decreasing as well, easing the stifling mugginess.

Taking a closer look at current temperatures, Seoul starts at 21.4°C.

This afternoon, Gangneung is expected to reach 26°C and Gwangju 31°C.

Influenced by easterly winds, rain will intermittently fall for a prolonged period along the east coast and in Jeju.

Rainfall through tomorrow is expected to be 5 to 10 mm in Gangwon Yeongdong and 5 to 20 mm in Jeju.

Northern Gyeongbuk east coast will see 5 to 10 mm of rain tomorrow.

Today, skies across the rest of the country will be mostly clear.

Meanwhile, strong winds will blow nationwide for the time being, particularly in the south coast and Jeju, where high wind advisories have been issued.

Strong swells are also expected along coastal areas, so special caution against safety accidents is required.
