A refreshing autumn breeze is blowing in.

Today (September 4), as a refreshing northeast wind flows in along the high-pressure system positioned to the north of the Korean Peninsula, early autumn air will be felt nationwide starting today.

However, due to the influence of easterly winds for the time being, intermittent rain will continue on the East Coast and in Jeju.

Today and tomorrow, light rain of 5 to 20 mm will fall intermittently, mainly centered around Gangwon Yeongdong and Jeju.

Meanwhile, while inland skies will remain clear today with very high ultraviolet index levels during the day, strong winds will blow in Jeju, the southern coast, and the Yeongnam coastal areas, requiring special attention to facility management and safety accidents.

Looking closely at the temperatures, this morning's low is forecasted to be a refreshing 21°C (70°F) in Seoul and 22°C (72°F) in Daegu.

Daytime temperatures will rise close to 30°C (86°F) in most areas, including 29°C (84°F) in Seoul, but because humidity is not high, the perceived heat will not be significant.

For the time being, clear weather will continue inland, making it a great time to enjoy the refreshing early autumn weather.
