A refreshing autumn breeze is blowing.

Currently, a high-pressure system is positioned to the north of our country and a low-pressure system to the south, creating a pressure pattern with high pressure in the north and low pressure in the south.

As this pressure system is expected to continue for the time being, northeasterly winds following the high-pressure system will pull down even more cold and dry air from the north.

As a result, refreshing early autumn air will be felt nationwide tomorrow, September 4.

However, as the barometric pressure gradient between the systems strengthens, easterly winds will blow even stronger starting tomorrow.

Accordingly, preliminary wind advisories have been issued centering on the southern coast and Jeju.

Very strong winds are expected, and other parts of the country will also experience sudden strong gusts at times tomorrow, so caution is needed regarding facility management and safety accidents.

Meanwhile, due to the influence of easterly winds for the time being, rain is expected to repeatedly stop and start along the east coast and Jeju.

Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, light rain of 5 to 20mm will fall occasionally in Gangwon Yeongdong and Jeju.

Meanwhile, inland areas will be clear, with very high ultraviolet index levels during the day tomorrow.

Looking at morning temperatures, Seoul will be 21°C (70°F) and Daegu will be 22°C (72°F), feeling refreshing. During the day, Seoul will reach 29°C (84°F) and most areas will climb close to 30°C (86°F), but humidity will not be high, so the perceived heat will not be significant.

For the time being, until next week, inland areas are expected to remain clear, making it a great time to enjoy the refreshing early autumn weather.
