Starting in the home match against Aberdeen, Yang Hyun-jun focused on creating opportunities for his teammates early on before capitalizing on his first shooting chance during stoppage time in the first half with his team leading 2-0.

Bursting forward in a counterattack situation, he received a pass from a teammate and slotted a left-footed shot into the corner of the net.

Yang, who is set to join the Asian Games squad as a wildcard, added his first goal of the season following his initial assist in a UEFA Champions League qualifier eight days ago, steadily sharpening his scoring prowess.

Lee Young-jun of Switzerland's Grasshoppers also displayed a sharp scoring touch.

In the 29th minute of the second half, when his pass to a teammate was blocked by an opponent, he quickly gathered the ball and drilled a precise right-footed shot from a tight angle.

It was his second consecutive goal in two games, scored just four minutes after coming on as a substitute, and his third goal of the season.

Though Lee missed out on a multi-goal match four minutes later when his powerful header struck the crossbar, he demonstrated blazing form ahead of joining the national team.

Yang Hyun-jun and Lee Young-jun will join Manager Lee Min-sung's squad in Japan on the 7th to pursue a fourth straight gold medal.
