A six-vehicle multi-car collision occurred near the Bucheon IC three-way intersection in Ojeong-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, leaving one truck driver injured.

The Bucheon Ojeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province stated that at around 5:30 PM today, on the Seoul-bound road near the Bucheon IC three-way intersection, a truck failed to slow down and crashed into a slow-moving passenger car ahead, triggering a chain-reaction six-vehicle collision as that car collided with other vehicles further ahead.

In the accident, the truck driver, a man in his 70s, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Although the passenger car that was struck by the truck overturned, authorities determined that the driver of the passenger car did not suffer major injuries.

Police have ruled out driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs for the truck driver and are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.
