The Korea Paralympic Committee announced on September 3 that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with Ajinomoto Korea to improve the athletic performance and provide sports nutrition support for national para-athletes.
The two sides held an agreement ceremony the previous day at the Icheon Training Center in Gyeonggi Province, with key figures attending including Jeon Seon-ju, head of the training center, and Atsushi Oda, CEO of Ajinomoto Korea.
Under this agreement, the Korea Paralympic Committee grants Ajinomoto Korea the rights to use and display brand assets such as its name, emblem, and corporate identity (CI), conduct promotional activities linked to major international competitions such as the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Para Games, and utilize national team images.
Ajinomoto Korea, a global food company, plans to support the nutritional intake, condition management, and recovery of national para-athletes during their training and competition processes, leveraging its expertise and products in the field of sports nutrition.
Jeon Seon-ju, head of the training center, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to CEO Oda and all the executives and employees for providing this valuable support for the systematic nutritional management and performance enhancement of our national para-athletes." She added, "We look forward to them becoming a reliable partner so that our athletes can compete in their best condition at the upcoming 2026 Asian Para Games."
