[Anchor] The number of foreign tourists visiting Busan has surged this year, but what did they pick as the most inconvenient part of their travel?

[Reporter] Yes, the Busan Metropolitan Government conducted in-depth interviews with foreigners who visited major tourist spots.

The most frequently cited inconveniences were trash cans and public restrooms.

One out of every four respondents said they experienced difficulties due to a shortage of public trash cans or unclean public restrooms.

Difficulties using transportation, such as recharging transit cards, a lack of multilingual guidance, and complications in the payment process were also pointed out as issues.

On the other hand, favorable reviews continued for the natural environment combining the sea and mountains, as well as the diverse food options.

In particular, the kindness of the citizens they met during their trips was cited as one of the reasons they would want to visit Busan again.

In fact, the number of foreign tourists who visited Busan in the first half of this year reached 2.42 million, marking a 44% increase compared to the same period last year.
