A vehicle driven by a person in their 60s has veered off a road and plummeted in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province.

At around 9:10 p.m. yesterday (September 2), a Carnival van broke through a guardrail and fell 10 meters down a slope along a national highway in Yeoryang-myeon, Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon Province.

The driver, a man in his 60s, sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
