The Nepalese government is mobilizing all resources to search for those missing in the massive floods. While thermal drones are being deployed to check for signs of life inside hydropower plant tunnels, no additional traces of missing persons have been found.

Inside a tunnel filled with muddy water and debris.

Before rescue workers entered to search for the missing, they inspected the interior using thermal drones.

However, no traces of humans were visible anywhere on the screen.

It is estimated that at least some 600 people were trapped inside tunnels across multiple hydropower plants. At sites where water has receded enough to allow entry, rescue workers are risking danger to search for the missing.

Nepalese authorities announced that they have rescued some 11,800 people from the flood-affected areas so far, but no additional survivors inside the tunnels have been found since August 30.

After falling and getting back up to run desperately, she barely managed to save her life.

Just before the flood struck, a student's cell phone captured vivid footage of the raging torrent closing in right behind them as they escaped the school on a bus.
