A man in his 70s has been transferred to a hospital in a state of cardiac arrest after being stung by bees in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province.

At around 7:10 PM yesterday (September 2), a report was received stating that A, a man in his 70s, had collapsed after being stung by bees and was unresponsive at an apiary in Gaju-dong, Chungju, North Chungcheong Province.

Rescued while in cardiac arrest, A was transported to a nearby hospital while receiving emergency treatment.

Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
