Kim Ha-seong of the Atlanta Braves, who had struggled all season with injuries and a slump, finally burst back to life.

He recorded a three-hit game for the first time in a year and showcased a phenomenal defensive play, earning rave reviews from the local broadcasting crew.

First, take a look at this stellar defense.

In the second inning against Washington, he slides to intercept a deep grounder headed up the middle between second and short, and while losing his balance and falling over, he fires an accurate throw to retire the batter-runner.

Riding that momentum, Kim also soared on the offensive end.

After ripping a bullet-like single to center field in the third inning, he pulled a sweeper in the fifth to complete a multi-hit game in just two plate appearances.

Following a full-count battle in the eighth where he laced another single to left field, Kim achieved his first three-hit game in 353 days and lifted his season batting average into the 100s.
