Yoon Kyung-sik secured his third win of the season at the 16th tournament of the KPGA (Korea Professional Golfers' Association) second-tier David Golf Tour, which boasts a total purse of 100 million won, thereby earning a seed for the remainder of the KPGA Tour season.

Playing in the final round of the tournament held today at Solag Country Club in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, Yoon shot 7-under par to finish with a tournament total of 13-under par. He edged out the runner-up group by a single stroke to claim the winner's prize of 20 million won.

Yoon turned professional as a semi-member in April 2018 and became a tour professional (regular member) in June of the same year, mostly competing on the second-tier tour.

Having previously won the 8th and 12th tournaments of this season's David Golf Tour, his third victory of the year earned him the privilege of securing a KPGA Tour card for the current season.

The KPGA introduced a rule in 2024 granting a KPGA Tour seed to any player who achieves three wins on the David Tour in a single season, and Yoon became the very first beneficiary of this system.

Cha Gang-ho and Jung Jae-hoon finished tied for second at 12-under par.
