Actress Ji Ye-eun and dancer Bata (real name Kim Tae-hyun), who have been publicly dating, will hold their wedding ceremony on December 12.

On the 2nd, Ji Ye-eun's agency, CP Entertainment, stated, "Based on a deep trust, the two have promised to spend their lives together," adding, "We ask for your warm congratulations and support for the couple ahead of their new beginning."

Bata's agency, Arai, said, "(The two) have met a precious connection and are starting a new journey as a married couple," adding, "Based on deep trust and love, they have promised to become each other's most reliable companions."

Born in 1994, the same-age couple first met as "church friends" through their shared religion before developing into romantic partners. They are now bearing the fruit of marriage about eight months after going public with their relationship last April.

Along with the marriage news, Ji Ye-eun's past remarks on broadcast are drawing renewed attention. Appearing recently on the SBS program "My Little Old Boy," Ji Ye-eun openly expressed her affection for Bata, saying, "After finding his faith, he quit drinking and smoking, and he is truly kind," adding, "He even learns how to cook for me because I can't cook well." She also showed strong trust in Bata, stating, "Why date someone if you can't take responsibility?"

Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun debuted in the 2017 web drama "How To" and has since emerged as a variety show powerhouse through Coupang Play's "SNL Korea" series, SBS's "Running Man," and Netflix's "Kian's Bizarre B&B." Bata, the leader of the dance crew We Dem Boyz, is a famous choreographer who finished as the runner-up on Mnet's "Street Man Fighter" and created the choreography for Zico's "New Thing" and Jennie's "like jennie."
