Rain and Showers Nationwide… Highs Reaching Up to 33°C

Rain is expected in various parts of the country today, Wednesday (September 2).

Rain will continue until the morning in the southern inland areas of Gangwon Province, Chungcheong Province, and western Jeonbuk Province, while scattered raindrops are expected in Seoul, Incheon, and southern Gyeonggi Province.

Showers will fall in parts of the inland Chungcheong, southern regions, and Jeju Island from morning through evening.

In particular, Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province are expected to see heavy showers of up to 60 mm, accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, lightning, and potential hail.

Morning lows will range from 20°C to 26°C (68°F to 79°F), and daytime highs will range from 25°C to 33°C (77°F to 91°F), similar to or slightly higher than average years.

In particular, the southern regions and Jeju Island, where heat wave advisories or warnings have been issued, will feel humid and hot with perceived temperatures rising above 33°C (91°F).
