Pitcher Woo-suk Go, who was released by the Minnesota Twins in Major League Baseball, is returning to his former club, the LG Twins, after three years of chasing his American dream.

Three days ago, after being released by Minnesota and optioned to the minor leagues, Go chose free agency and expressed his intention to return to the LG franchise.

This marks his return to the KBO League after three years, following his venture to the United States after the 2023 season.

Having arrived back in Korea on the afternoon of September 1, Go met with LG club officials to discuss a contract and is expected to visit Jamsil Baseball Stadium the day after tomorrow to share his thoughts on his return.

Because he returned after the July 31 player registration deadline, Go will not be eligible to play in this year's postseason, but he is expected to provide a significant boost to the LG bullpen for the remainder of the regular season.
