Famous internet broadcasting streamer couple Kwajap Seyeon (real name In Se-yeon) and BJ K (real name Park Jung-gyu) are under police investigation for alleged use of psychotropic drugs.
The Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced today (September 1) that In and Park were booked on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act on July 30 and are currently under investigation.
They are accused of taking sleeping pills classified as psychotropic substances.
Last month, after news broke that Park had been booked for obtaining sleeping pills through proxy prescriptions, he acknowledged being investigated by the police during a personal live broadcast.
Initially, only news of Park's investigation was reported, but it has been additionally confirmed that his romantic partner, In, has also been placed on the police investigation radar.
Police found that Park had sleeping pills, which are psychotropic substances, prescribed vicariously through an acquaintance and took them.
Park began internet broadcasting in 2012 and has gathered around 706,000 YouTube subscribers as of today, while In drew widespread attention in 2024 when she was spotted with HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
