Without a single drop of rain, an entire village vanished. This flood, triggered by a collapsing Himalayan glacier, claimed the lives of over 900 people, while more than 4,000 remain missing. This disaster is not unconnected to global warming. However, Nepal emitted a mere 0.01 percent of the world's carbon that melted the glaciers.
