Secret donations that have continued quietly for the past 15 years.

Heartwarming accounts surrounding actor Shin Mina are drawing heated attention online.

Recently, a post praising Shin Mina was shared online.

Under the title "3.7 billion won quietly withdrawn from Shin Mina's bank account over 15 years," the author, who identified themselves as a foundation official, stated, "Large sums were deposited into the account every month starting in 2009. At first, I thought it was a misdeposit, but it turned out to be Shin Mina."

One of the confirmed organizations where Shin Mina made donations is the Hallym Burn Foundation.

Shin Mina has continued donating to this foundation every year since 2015, with her cumulative donations reaching 1.1 billion won up to this year.

The foundation stated that while they did not write the post about Shin Mina themselves, they feel deep gratitude for her donations that have continued for over a decade.

They shared that Shin Mina goes beyond financial contributions, surveying young burn patients every Christmas and holiday season about the gifts they want and delivering them along with handwritten letters.

On the very day of her wedding to actor Kim Woobin last December, the couple donated 300 million won to organizations including the Hallym Burn Foundation, Asan Medical Center, and Good Friends.

She is also known for practicing sharing by delivering relief funds whenever disasters occur, such as COVID-19, wildfires, earthquakes, and flood damage.
