The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, together with the Korea Arts Management Service and Arts Council Korea, is distributing 220,000 discount vouchers worth 10,000 won for performances starting today (the 1st).

The Ministry announced that following the first round of voucher distribution last May, it is issuing additional discount vouchers to expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy the performing arts and to revitalize the performing arts market.

Starting today, the discount vouchers will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to two per person, across five online ticketing platforms: Naver Booking, NOL, Yes24, Time Ticket, and Ticketlink.

The issued vouchers can only be used for performances with dates running through November 30. Applicable genres include theater, musicals, classical music, traditional Korean music (gugak), and dance, while popular music and popular dance are excluded.

The discount vouchers operate on a weekly basis, issued from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays until 12:00 a.m. midnight on Monday of the following week. Vouchers that are not used within this period will automatically expire.

Additionally, to vitalize regional performances, the Ministry is issuing an additional two discount vouchers per person that can only be used at performance venues outside the capital area (excluding Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon).

Regional arts and culture centers outside the capital area will also offer on-site discounts targeting older adults (aged 55 and older), people with disabilities, low-income groups, farmers and fishermen, and elementary, middle, and high school group visitors.
