The personal information of 31-year-old Jeong Chang-seong, a Chinese college lecturer accused of murdering a female Chinese international student in her 20s, mutilating her body, and abandoning the remains across the country, has been made public.
Jeong was arrested by police on charges of murdering the victim in her 20s in his studio apartment in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, in the early hours of August 20, mutilating her body, and abandoning the remains in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, and Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.
He is also accused of disguising himself in women's clothing and heading to Dongdaegu Station to turn off the victim's smartphone in an attempt to disrupt the police investigation.
Jeong's personal information will remain posted on the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency website until September 1.
