The personal information of a Chinese university lecturer, who was arrested on charges of murdering a woman in her 20s who was a foreign student from China and abandoning her body in various parts of the country, will be disclosed today (the 1st).

The Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency will disclose the name, age, and facial photograph of the suspect, surnamed Jeong, starting at 9 a.m. today for a period of 30 days.

The police identity disclosure deliberation committee decided to make the release after comprehensively considering that sufficient evidence has been secured and the public interest, including crime prevention.
