The SBS social affairs reporting team, which exclusively reported on allegations that the investigation into the Jang Yoon-ki case was concealed and downplayed, has won the Broadcast Journalist of the Month Award.

The Broadcasters Association of Korea and the Korean Association for Broadcasting & Telecommunication Studies stated the reason for the award, saying, "It stood out for continuously tracking allegations of police shoddy investigation and concealment to reveal the truth, and for generating significant social impact and influence following the report."
