Homeplus announced today (the 31st) that it has generated 116.4 billion won in sales since its reopening.

This figure covers the period from the 13th, when Homeplus reopened its doors, through yesterday, representing a 57% increase compared to sales during the same period in July.

The number of customer visits rose by 38%, and the number of purchasing members surged by 255%.

While large discount stores typically pay for goods with sales proceeds after receiving and selling them, Homeplus has been paying for merchandise upfront.

The company is currently receiving only the volume of goods that can be prepaid within its operating capital.
