An unexpected friendship between Yu Jae-seok and actor Hyun Bin is set to be revealed on "Whenever Possible."

On the upcoming September 1 broadcast of the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible," actors Hyun Bin and Woo Do Hwan appear as guests alongside MCs Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok to visit the nooks and crannies of Anyang during their spare time.

Upon meeting Hyun Bin, Yu Jae-seok greeted him warmly, saying, "Bin, your physique has gotten even better." He went on to share their special connection, explaining, "Hyun Bin and I used to sweat it out together. We worked out at the same gym, and Bin used to spot my triceps." In response, Hyun Bin playfully checked Yu Jae-seok's muscles and quipped, "Hyung, your body seems a bit leaner than back then," bringing laughter to the set.

Notably, making his first-ever appearance on a variety show in 23 years since his debut, Hyun Bin showcased an extraordinary competitive streak alongside Woo Do Hwan. Once the mission began, he burned with passion—spotting loopholes in the rules and attempting to negotiate with the production team. Hearing this, Yu Jae-seok reportedly shook his head in amusement, remarking, "Why do those two keep heading over to the production team?"

"Whenever Possible," which has solidified its position as a powerhouse among Tuesday entertainment shows by breaking its own highest viewership ratings, airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m.
